Supported by teams in Dubbo and Wagga, the business services a significant geographical area west of the Blue Mountains. Providing repairs and servicing to ATM's, self-checkouts, cash redemption machines and cash management terminals.


About the Position


Regional Technical is seeking a Service Technician to join our team based in Orange NSW. You will be responsible for onsite service and repair of clients equipment. Sites include Banks, supermarkets, pubs, clubs and service stations. You will have a varied and interesting day working on a wide range of equipment. 


About You


As a person you would be described as someone who has had a long-term interest in technology, mechanical components and computers. You will have a natural sense of urgency and great customer service approach. You would also have a natural ability to find faults on equipment that is foreign to you. You will possess excellent written and verbal skills with passion for customer service. Previous experience in the repair of ATM’s, CRT's and Self Checkout terminals would be a distinct advantage.

Key responsibilities will include


Becoming competent in the repair and servicing of a range of cash handling equipment. Such as ATM's, Self checkout systems, Cash redemption terminals, and Cash management machines.

  •  Having a good ability to liaise professionally with the customers and ensure repair service levels are achieved.

  • Communicate effectively to management.

  • Maintain and manage your vehicle van stock

  • Assisting with call management including call creation and closure

  •  Adhering to all work health and safety (WHS) best practice requirements and be able to identify potential hazards to ensure your safety and others in the workplace.


To be successful in this position you will have


  •  An Australian drivers license

  •  Willingness to supply a National Police Certificate (NPC) as part of onboarding

  •  Genuine interest in computers both hardware and software ideally supported by a Certificate III in Information Technology and/or possess an office equipment repair background such as photocopiers and printers or similar.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the repair of ATM’s, CRT's and Self Checkouts would be a distinct advantage.

  •  A good ability to retain knowledge coupled with a high attention to detail.

  •  Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment with a great work attitude

  •  Natural problem solving skills

  •  Excellent communication skills written and verbal

  •  Excellent personal presentation, organizational and time management skills
